  • Indira Ghansham Mirchandani Service Centre presented the Crusader Trophy to Viji Srinivasan as Indira Appreciation Memento 2001.

  • National Award for Women’s Development through Application of Science and Technology for the year 2000 to Viji Srinivasan on 8th March, 2001 by the Science and Society Division, Department of Science and Technology, Government Of India, to recognize her contribution to women’s empowerment at the grassroot level during the last 40 years through sustainable S & T interventions which have enabled a collective and cohesive change in the life of thousands of Tribal Rural women. The award was presented by Hon. Minister M.M.Joshi, Union Minister of S&T, HRD and Ocean Development, GOI.

  • National Commission For Women Award presented to ADITHI for outstanding contribution for promoting the cause of women on 21st March 2002.

  • 3rd Sarda Equal Opportunities Award – 2002 was awarded to Viji Srinivasan for her outstanding contribution towards the improvement of women and backward classes in Patna (Bihar).

  • In honour of volunteerism, YWCA of India presented the Millennium Roll of Honour to Viji Srinivasan in recognition of her outstanding public service and dedication to the ideals of volunteerism on 11th November, 2002 at New Delhi.
